09/23/2024 01:09 PM

Heights Interfaith Ministries Food Pantry currently serves close to 200 families each week during twice weekly food distributions. These distributions would not be possible without volunteers and community support.

Heights Interfaith Ministries Food Pantry offers volunteer shifts Wednesday through Saturday that require only 2-3 hours of time. In addition to manning food distributions, volunteers help receive, sort and package food for distribution. The majority of shifts are open to volunteers age 16 and up, and Friday afternoon shifts are open to teens ages 13-15 when accompanied by an adult. (Friday shifts are a great options for youth groups or families who want to volunteer together!)

In addition to volunteering, they welcome donations and are happy to work with you to organize a food drive. They are always in need of pantry staples and are happy to accept contributions of both food and funds to keep their shelves stocked.
