The Salvation Army of Greater Houston remains a cornerstone of holistic care in southeast Texas, serving over 50,000 individuals a year across three counties -- Harris, Montgomery, and Ft. Bend. We are a resource for countless families, youth, seniors, and the unsheltered through programs that focus on our three pillars: Life Navigation, Rehabilitation, and Youth Development. At over 10 local Salvation Army service centers, we feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, protect domestic violence victims, assist the elderly, empower youth, strengthen veterans, and bring aid to disaster survivors. We are One Army with many fronts helping Houstonians overcome poverty, addiction, and homelessness and achieve and maintain self-sufficiency.
