Dan Electros is a local Dive Bar and Music Venue that offers music and food to the Heights area and beyond every damn day. Their stage and club size is designed to support local, regional and some national acts. They are the second longest running independent music stage in Houston and we have been around since 1988.
History… There have been four different owners over the years. Before it was a music club it was a steakhouse. Carolyn Wonderland was a waitress here at one time, Legends like Stevie Ray Vaughn, Greg Allman, ZZ top, Richard Gere and so many more have all played here. Tuesday’s jam has been happening since the 80s and it once was on Thursdays, then Mondays and now Tuesdays. Started by Teri Greene,
Currently they are trying to maintain the vibe in the club, while turning the club into a community-based bar where local Houston musicians come to hang.
