Bunnies on the Bayou, Inc. is a nonprofit organization proudly rooted in Houston, Texas, with a mission to enhance the quality of life and advance education and awareness of human rights for individuals in the LGBTQIA+ community. Through vibrant social events held throughout the year, Bunnies brings people together to celebrate inclusivity and community, culminating in its signature Easter Sunday festival—the largest LGBTQIA+ fundraising event in Texas. Since 2000, Bunnies on the Bayou has contributed over $2 million to more than 150 nonprofit programs that support LGBTQIA+ individuals across Greater Houston. These funds have provided critical aid to underrepresented groups, including the unhoused, food-insecure, elderly, people of color, individuals of the Trans experience, and many more. By fostering unity and promoting equity, Bunnies remains a cornerstone of hope and advocacy for countless individuals.
